I saw "The Incredibles" when it was in theatres, enjoyed it, but unlike a lot of Pixar films, I never really gave it a second thought. So, I haven't really been pining for a sequel, which probably makes me the ideal audience for this.
It's fine. I enjoyed it more than I expected to, even though the by-the-numbers, extremely predictable plot turns aren't that great. I'll say this though ... I have seen a lot of superhero films this year and by far the most entertaining superhero-driven action scene so far is Jack-Jack's battle with a raccoon.
