Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Mpreviews — 19 Jun 2018

I’m not the biggest fan of the original incredibles. I like the movie, and it is good, but I never saw it as the absolute masterpiece that everyone else has. That combined with the fact that the trailers for this film didn’t completely convince me, I was a little worried going into incredibles 2.

But thankfully, I was wrong. This movie was INCREDIBLE!!!! (Sorry, I had to.) Seriously though, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this movie. I was worried that it would have a lot of cringey moments since the trailers gave me that impression, but that wasn’t the case at all! The animation is obviously leaps and bounds better than the first one, and is also fantastic in its own right, the action also better than the first one and also gets surprisingly intense, which is completely fine with me, the main characters are all great and in my opinion better than in the first film, the screenslaver was great villain, the soundtrack is amazing and gave me heavy mission impossible vibes, and the story I think is almost as suspenseful as infinity war.

ALMOST. Incredibles 2 definetly lives up to its name. I’ll take this over the first film anyday, and if you somehow haven’t already gone to see it, I highly recommend you do so.
