A film whose premise is so carefully layered that it almost convinces the viewer that their notion of reality isn't quite what it seems. Nolan plays with so many elements of film, philosophy, and psychology and weaves them together with the expertise of a fine sculptor - and the final product is a god damn masterpiece.
