Review of Inception (2010) by Kris W — 24 Apr 2015
'Your mind is the scene of the crime'.
'The dream is real.'.
Kind of Matrix 2 meets Dreamscape meets The thirteenth Floor meets Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Really good, but on 1st viewing it's not as great as Memento or The Prestige, maybe as good as Batman Begins, but def better than Dark Knight.
Like with many of his previous films, he takes a once big star who has been underused for many years and gives them a decent sized part, i.e. Rutger Hauer (Batman Begins), Eric Roberts (Dark Kight) and in this case Tom Berenger.
