It may ride its fascinating concept, excellent acting and Nolan's directorial craft a bit further than narrative and character depth, but "Inception" remains a visionary and ambitious blend of noir, science fiction, and action that boldly fights the blockbuster trend to supply thrills without brains and action without artistry.
