Incredibly jarring and riveting, Inception shows us all what great storytelling can do. The film's plot is good, but the way the plot is delivered to the audience is even better. Nolan spends the first half of the movie explaining the science of the dream world, but then twist his own rules--twice--to infuse the plot with drama.

The film is an allegorical look at the movie-going experience; just like the characters in the film, the right kick can tell you whether you're experiencing a fictional world (when engrossed in a movie) or real life.
