Review of Inception (2010) by Tyler H — 09 Jun 2014
It is astonishing to see how the words, "Innovative, creative etc" are acclimated to a story that is nothing of the sort. There are scenes in this movie that are blatantly stolen from Paprika and because of that, this movie falls short in every category it is being praised for.
Christopher Nolan is becoming synonymous with borrowing ideas from other sources and then retelling them in the most mundane and unimaginative way. But hey, if Hans Zimmer is doing the score...all is well right? Wrong.
Hans is phenomenal but Nolan's story telling has been lacking since Momento.
