Review of Inception (2010) by Daniel M — 11 Jan 2015

Let me start off by saying this film is nowhere near my type of movie and I probably wouldn't have watched it had Leonardo DiCaprio not been in it. But, he is in it and that's what made me decide to watch it - and I don't regret that decision. DiCaprio delivered in Nolan's truly unique film about a man on a mission to reunite with his children, willing to do whatever it takes and in this case that's something quite out of the ordinary to say the least.

The visuals are simply breathtaking and the whole ride satisfies. I did catch myself getting a tad bored a couple of times during the film but taking into consideration I am not a sci-fi fan in general and prefer a very different type of film, it was good enough. This isn't so much a love it or hate it film, it's more of a like it or dislike it film. I didn't love it - but I liked it!
