Review of Incendies (2010) by Paul W — 09 Nov 2011
In a classic retelling of an ancient myth (name withheld so as not to spoil the plot) it is the heroic feminine that works to bring inter-generational healing. Despite being 30minutes too long and having some confusing flash-backs and forwards (compounded by the visual similarity in mother and daughter), the message is clear and ever so necessary to our times.
