Promises. Breaking the cycle of violence. Logic and the illogical. Smash it all up, jump back and forth through time to discover a family's history, and be devastated and amazed throughout it all. That's "Incendies.
" A few hiccups in logic and storytelling are all that keep this from being a five-star film.
