Incendies is a complicated, dramatic, riveting movie that I found completely engrossing until the overwrought ending. The plot's Greek tragedy overtones detracted from the story. Nevertheless, it's a fascinating (and heartbreaking) glimpse into religious warfare in the Middle East.
