Review of Incendiary (2008) by Tim M — 17 May 2009
There are many words that describe this film; poignant, boring, heart-wrenching, melodramatic, heart-warming, chick-flick, brave, Lifetime Original. I wanted to be entertained and thought there would be more intrigue mystery and action than this emotional British dreck.
The ending monologue is not without merit, but more than anything one quote from the film sticks with me "Too stupid to know any better." And that's really what the film is about, pointlessly soldiering on for overcast days with superfluous children.
The indomitable human spirit as some may euphemize it. Great directing and score, just not my cup of tea. Cheerio!
