Review of Incendiary (2008) by Dana A — 21 Mar 2010
Once again this is a movie where the trailer is entirely different from the actual film and your left confused after spending your time watching it. This wasn't so much about the attack and uncovering the truth, this was more about how a mother deals with her grief.
Despite being well acted and a surprisingly good British accent from Michelle Williams this was really unbalanced. I wasn't sure what the point of some of the characters were for or what the plot was.
This was trying to be a thriller, coverup, grief film without completing any of its tasks. Overall the film was just incomplete and as a result the story, not knowing where it wants to go just drags and drags.
Overall your left with a "thats it?" feeling and soon you quickly forget what it was you just watched.
