When I heard Joss Whedon had penned a supernatural type rom/com, I figured it would be filled with witty satire, whilst being poignant at the right moments. But truth be told, this film is lacking all the fun, zingy one-liners that Whedon is so good at.
Don't get me wrong, it isn't horrible. The paranormal aspect of the film keeps it interesting, and the leads did a great job of portraying the romance through essentially separate performances, as they were in different parts of the country for the whole film.
The music for the soundtrack is fantastic as well.
