Review of In Which We Serve (1942) by Rodrigo L — 29 Sep 2012
One of the best wartime propaganda films I've seen - brilliantly written, performed and co-directed (with the estimable David Lean of all people) by Noel Coward. It's realistic, it's tragic, it's sincere, it's uplifting and it's inspiring.
It must have been everything a wartime audience would have desired in a film about their troubled times.
