Review of In Time (2005) by Sam B — 19 Nov 2012
My rating kept going from 1 to 5 stars throughout this move but in the end I decided the originality put the film on the up side. It's an interesting take on the Bonnie & Clyde/Robin Hood/Marxist Ideology genres.
There is a hint at a conspiracy possibly fueling the economic troubles of our time ...but that's fairly thin on the ground.
One problem with this film is they invite to have this totally new way of thinking about everyday life but they don't let you get in the mind set before throwing stuff at you.
In real life, as I'm pro working man, I dint like the ageist aspect of the film casting.
There's also a few things that just don't make any sense but all in all, something to watch when you haven't seen a sci fi in a while.
