(2011) In Time.

SCIENCE-FICTION.

Written, produced and directed by Andrew Niccol starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried in a silly "Logan's Run" like scenio which the world uses 'time' instead of paper money with the timekeeper police on the two stars trail. This movie works if viewers are not open minded since it doesn't cover all areas leaving with more questions than it gives answers. This whole situation reminds me about scuba divers who go underwater and need air to survive, for because theirs more water than land- it doesn't consider the whole picture for it "limits" itself to just on land (even though theirs more water) and motorists- not boats, helicopters or planes.

Also they're many cringing moments such as at the start of the film some stranger is drinking at a bar giving people free drinks by using his "time" since this stranger has unlimited amounts of it. So when the so called time gangsters show up lead by a person named Raymond played by Cillian Murphy, he challenges him to a fight- we the audience don't know what it is yet nor even care at this point. And while everyone runs away from this bar this stranger stil continues to stand tall against the gangsters motivating Will Sales (Justin timberlake) taking the liberty in saving his life. There is absolutley no reason why is it only him that has volunteered to save him as opposed to the others since their were more common people in this bar than Raymond and his 2 cronies- this is retarded. And as it turns out Raymond is really the 'Timekeeper police' since the amount of authority is like throughout the whole country and that the civilians seem to outweigh the police or the army for that matter- this makes no sense whatsoever. The audience are not given no explanation about how or why people are given only the first 25 years of free time and anything after that has to be earned nor know what it is that's in the body that will bring the person down if s/he time runs out- only that it does. They're no hospitals in sight without addressing sickness or people who don't even have arms. The enviroment is so contained that the more questions the movie answers the less I start to care. I get so dumb just thinking about it.

1 star out of 4 stars.
