Review of In Time (2005) by Sam L — 27 Mar 2013
Pretty hideous stuff. The one star is for the admittedly interesting concept and the strong cast.
However, while it may have a strong cast, most of them are going to look back on this as a low of their career. I can only put this down to direction. Amanda Seyfreid's character change is as implausible as many parts of the film. Most scenes feel like cheap rip-offs of other films, The Matrix being an obvious influence. The story, too, is extremely familiar and predictable.
I was left wishing someone else had been allowed to direct this film because it had potential.
