Review of In Time (2005) by Angelina C — 15 Jul 2013
This is a world where time is currency. Imagine a world where you buy everything with 'time'. A cup of coffee, for example, costs 4 minutes. Everyone has been genetically engineered to stop aging at 25.
From that moment, a timer kicks in and every second counts. To stay alive beyond that, you either earn, inherit or steal more time. It begun with an interesting piece of 21st-century SCi Fi story however it lacks the urgency and it feel like there are too many gaps in the plot.
It felt like the best bits might have been left on the cutting room floor with some of the worst dialogue exchanges I have ever heard. But it certainly adds food for thought about the issue of potential overpopulation in the near future.
