I love this concept of not just the time as a currency, but living the life actually knowing your life depended on every second of every day. One of the best visual displays in the movie are people dying on the street in the middle of the day because their time ran out; and nobody gives them a time of day (no pun intended) because nobody has time to deal with those kinds of things.
Very well done in Bonnie and Clyde concept.
