Review of In Time (2005) by Joe A — 16 Apr 2014
Really interesting concept, but it felt really flat. Niccol's just couldn't stay focus on the it's premise, constantly speeding up the timeline without actually explaining it. I do understand that the concept is of running out of time, but it came at great cost to a film that could have been great. Timberlake isn't there yet. Seyfried has always been there, what a great actress she is, as well as Murphy, who seems to play that creepy annoying character so well.
PS, It looked amazing. Roger Deakins is the man.
