Very disturbing, but very good. Paul Haggis seems to have a knack for writing amazing scripts on touchy subject matter that far too many people know far too little about. "In the Valley of Elah" failed to garner many Oscar nods, but should have gotten several.
Fantastic special features, as well. Lots of interesting and eye opening interviews with the soldiers who were cast in the movie. Sean Huze said it best: "Inevitably, humanity is the casualty of war.".
