Review of In the Valley of Elah (2007) by Rose G — 01 Nov 2009
I was surprised by this film. TL Jones obviously does an outstanding job as the father and Charlize Theron was well cast as the detective. I figured most of the plot out before the end, but it was still enjoyable watching it unravel.
A definite critique on what is happening to are young men who go to Iraq and deal with being back in the US. Wished they would have explored that avenue more, but obviously couldn't due to the "plot".
