Review of In the Valley of Elah (2007) by Chloe W — 12 Nov 2008
Tommy Lee Jones plays a down home salt of the earth father who has a missing son just back from Iraq and who lost a son to the war sometime in the past. It is a well done movie that kept me absorbed in the drama and with Charlize Theron playing a detective single mom who joins with Jones to seek the truth of what happened. Jason Patric pops up in a supporting role and Susan Sarandon as Jone's wife.
I recommend it for adult viewing. It has some gruesome scenes with nudity.
