Review of In the Valley of Elah (2007) by Kurt H — 15 Sep 2009
As a grieving parent, Tommy Lee Jones is extremely human. What a performance! This is a take on a who-dunnit, with psychological implications of war set as a back-drop. That is where the classification of the film ends.
..And an amazing story begins! The script aids the actors, but I doubt Tommy Lee Jones needed the help. Deeply moving, ever-changing, and as honest a film as I have seen. I would say this is a must see!
