Review of In the Spider's Web (2007) by Nathaniel D — 08 Nov 2010
This is so bad. So so bad. I honestly don't even know where to start. Its acting, plot, effects, script and direction are all typical Sci-Fi original, but somehow, this seemes even worse than usual.
The effects are a combination of tarantulas tied to strings and dangled around, rubber spiders tied to strings and dangled around, and CGI that was made obsolite by the Sega Genisis. I can not believe a terrific and well respected actor like Lance Henriksen signed on for such a thing.
It is miles below someone of his calibar. Starts out horribly, and then somehow devolves into something truely awful. Nearly unwatchable even for a seasoned Sci-Fi original veteran.
