Review of In the Shadows (2002) by Frances H — 24 Feb 2009
It was going to get a 5/10... Till the ending, during which all manner of unjustifiable things happen. Why does Lance Cooper bother to go down to the garage? Why does what's-his-face the mobster even bother to go back to the Cooper household? Why doesn't Cooper blow him away when he shows up? Why doesn't what's-his-face the mobster blow the Coopers away when Lance doesn't blow him away? And what's up with the whole morally ambiguous ending?
Waste of time. Cuba Gooding Jr. and Joey Lauren Adams are decent in it though.
