Review of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) by Ryan A — 09 May 2009
The amount of Lord of the Rings ripoffs are too numerous to count. If you tried to do a drinking game based on how many Lord of the Rings references there are in this film, you would get totally wasted. No joke.
This movie is hilarious, and sometimes I wondered if I fell asleep because something totally didn't make sense. The only way I could reconcile that was if I had maybe fallen asleep or something. I don't' know if it's really that bad, or if maybe I just took a mental hiatus. There are just so many ridiculous cliche's that you'll find yourself laughing at the idea of a serious plotline.
Honestly, Lord of the Rings references, everywhere.
Great to make fun of and joke about. Other than that, pretty much a terrible film. If you do end up watching this, I recommend making an experience of it.
