Review of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) by Charles P — 30 Dec 2010
Its a pretty bad movie, its just like Lord of the Rings, the characters have hardly any development and the story is super cliche. The characters have hardly any development and honestly they don't do anything that is memorable or likable.
Most of the time the characters just talk and really don't do anything that serves the plot most of the time. They are melodramatic or over dramatic at most of the times. It's unclear why characters carry certain weapons or do certain things, it does matter why characters do certain things that really don't serve to the action.
The story is simple and straight forward but its so long and drags on for such a long time. The music sounds almost like the Lord of the Rings soundtrack at times and its just painful. Overall, this is a very bad film and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
