Huikeasta näyttelijäkaartista huolimatta lopputulos on B-luokan miekankalistelufantasia. Uwe Boll ohjaajana keroo toki paljon, mutta yllättävä kyllä leffan pystyy katsomaan loppuun saakka vaikka välillä tiukkaa tekeekin.
LOTR-trilogian jälkeen fantasiarima on vaan turhan korkealla tämän tyyppisille tekeleille.
