Review of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) by Nicole B — 08 Jan 2009
There were so many things wrong with this movie I don't know where to begin. One thing I could not get over was that Brian White who played commander Tarish had a nice haircut and his facial hair was nice too.
I'm thinking that back in that time black guys would have a hard time getting their hair to look like that. Another annoying factor was that everybody seemed like they had a different accent. I don't know who was worse, Ray Liota who sounded like one of my neighbors, or Matthew Lillard whose acting and accent was so over the top I felt like I was watching a comedy.
Once you get over his fighting abilities, Jason Statham is really boring. He seems like he is the same in every movie. I'm still trying to figure out how the movie was so bad with so many good actors.
