Review of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) by Tiffany W — 14 Feb 2009

I first saw it on a standard DVD and think much of it. It was on sale the other day as a Blue Ray and was so cheap I couldn't pass it up. I'm glad I got it because in high def there is a lot more to appreciate.

There is some very excellent photography throughout the film. The story is weak, but if you like the actors, they each have some good performances. There are many moments of pure cheese, but just ignore them and look for many scenes with interesting lighting and some decent special effects.

This movie is actually better each time you watch it in high def because of the scenery and many favorite actors. Again the story is pretty weak and very cheesey.
