Review of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) by Eli F — 19 Feb 2009
Uwe Boll has sort of become another Shyamalan: bagged for all the wrong reasons. I have good taste in movies, and I don't see Uwe Boll as being as bad as people describe. I thought this film had many unique elements and was quite entertaining.
In fact, Uwe Boll is quite a good director...many of his shots are quite beautiful and scenes usually have at least some-thing not seen before. I give Uwe Boll time. I wasn't going to watch postal, but after finally renting this, will definitely give him another shot.
