An entertaining fantasy movie on a medium budget, heavily inspired by the Lord of the Rings movies. Beautiful landscapes, good special effects and battle scenes. The story is dramatic, but predictable, with many clichés.
Acting is so-so, but Ray Liotta is a good villain. Jason Statham is OK in the lead, fights well, but lacks charisma. Saw it on Blu-Ray where it looks impressive, with many details. Worth renting or buying on sale.
Based on the computer game "Dungeon Siege", which I haven't played.
