Review of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) by Angel J — 02 Dec 2010
This ridiculously long film was quite enjoyable with the cheesy acting and the hilarious dialogue and croc looking creatures which were a funny attempt of replicating Orcs. This film was only enjoyable because it was so bad it was funny.
It is funny to see such prestigious actors take their part in such a weird film. It was fun to see Jason Statham kick ass like the Transporter in a Medieval realm. A movie with the enjoyment of Ron Perlman is always one not to miss.
I will say I didn't enjoy it for the wrong reasons but It won't get any higher than a 40 for me. That's just for generosity that I found a way to enjoy although this film was a straight rip off of Lord of The Rings with half of the effort.
