Review of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007) by Daniel P — 28 Jun 2011
Based on Microsoft's Dungeon Siege game, Uwe Boll's In The Name Of the King is a dull, cheap, anachronistic and badly made film awash with terrible performances, poor CGI and ridiculous scripting.
The game - as basic as it was - had a better story, more believable 'characters' and greater dramatic depth. Even Jason "you wanna mess with me?" Statham can't save this one (and alas he doesn't remove his awful tunic).
Oh, and it's SO FUCKING LONG.
