Review of In the Name of the Father (1993) by T.d. C — 21 Jun 2008

I like Irish accent, even the intonation. it is pleasing my ears, like the fresh grass you could smell in those distant days.

The court scence made me think: truth might look so 'cheap' as there is no need to prove it. However, sometimes, or most of times, it is too hard to protect it. In these situation, we might call it 'truth', or 'justice'.

I can't believe Daniel is 36 when he played this role. He looked still the same as those 20ish youngsters at this movie.

I was again amazed by the acting of Emma Thompson. In particular the moment when she was presenting in front of the judge. What a powerful performing.
