Thankfully, I've been on a streak of seeing GREAT movies lately. For far too long, I was cursed with being overly excited about a film, and being disappointed. In the last couple of months, this has been the exact opposite, and this is certainly no exception. I have always thought that movies based on true stores were in a lot of ways more powerful, more effective, and certainly more engrossing than your average fiction film that someone smugly wrote up to make a buck or two.

It is no secret that I am vehemently opposed to a lot of things with modern society, and this movie distinctly illustrates one of the great fallacies that the "justice" system that most of the free world practices. Gerry Conlan and those alongside with him were convicted and sentenced based not on evidence, but on their own coerced testimony.

The actress portraying Conlan's appeal lawyer does an excellent job at speaking on behalf of Conlan, as if she was Conlan. This scene is reason enough to see the movie!
