Review of In the Name of the Father (1993) by Ryan G — 02 Jul 2011
Fabulous acting performance from Daniel Day Lewis. Interesting film about the true story of Gerry and Gisipie Conlon who where wrongly accused of a bombing in England during the 1970's. The film is also about the relationship between father and son and how they come to have a deeper appreciation for each other while spending time in jail.
The story itself is horrific - to think that something like this is actually possible is troubling. This is a good movie that is definetely worth rewatching.
Anyways I just want to point out that this is my 300th review. It's fun writing these little snipits about movies. Thanks facebook.
