Sheridan teams up with actor Day-Lewis to give us a portrait of the difficult situation of the troubles and the IRA. This film is based on the true story of Gerry Conlon, wrongly accused of a bombing in London and imprisoned along with his father after the investigators force a confession out of him.
A gripping drama with another compelling performance by Day Lewis who mixes rage, pride and anger in one of Sheridan's best films.
