Review of In the Name of the Father (1993) by Alex S — 03 Aug 2013
Incredible acting from Daniel Day-Lewis, who brilliantly portrays Gerry Colon's "free-spirited" but righteous nature and the roller-coaster of emotions he experiences, from rebelliousness and intense frustration, to compassion and love for his father.
The movie also effectively shows how the public pressure on officials with questionable ethics can lead to escapegoting.
