Review of In the Name of the Father (1993) by Jill S — 26 Jun 2011
I just recently saw this film for the first time, and absolutely loved it. The cast was phenomenal, especially Daniel Day-Lewis and Pete Postlethwaite, whose performances were both very powerful and true.
The chemistry between the two is what made the film so successful. The story is hearbreaking and true, yet at the end I was left with somewhat of a feeling of satisfaction. Everyone should see it.
