Review of In the Mouth of Madness (1995) by Daniel B — 15 Mar 2008
Sam Neill is probably one of the most underrated actors. I dunno. Maybe he just avoids more mainstream roles or something. Anyways I think he's really good here and really adds to the value of the movie, which could be otherwise drastically diminished.
The plot just feels really familiar, like your in a real warm and cozy place - but it's still really fucked up. Maybe that's why it works.
