I am not exactly sure why... is it the strong acting performances (Sam Neil is just perfect), is it the beautiful sets, is it the confusing and unpredictable storyline... but I have a long-lasting, powerful, unfathomable fascination for this horror movie in which the plot, not the special effects, create emotions.
