Review of In the Mouth of Madness (1995) by Dan B — 10 Jul 2008
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this held up after 13 years. It's an excellent tribute to Lovecraft, and my favorite thing about it is its refusal to retreat into cheap humor or irony; even at the risk of frequent ridiculousness, it's drop-dead serious about its subject matter, and I think that's just awesome.
