John carpenter is one of the greatest horror directors of all time and one of the greatest directors in general.This film is based of characters from the novels of legendary horror author H.P.Lovercraft.
This film is awsome with great atmosphre(which isn't rare from John carpenter who is the master of atmosphere) and creep visuals and great story line. This is recommened to all horror fans and lovecraft fans alike.
