Review of In the Mouth of Madness (1995) by Brett B — 19 Oct 2010
What begins as a film with an interesting premise quickly descends into a sloppy mess; the story's eventual resolution doesn't live up to the promise of the set-up. Still, Neill sells the heck out of his role, Heston's cameo is kind of neat, and Carpenter still has a definite knack for conjuring up creepy imagery.
