Review of In the Mouth of Madness (1995) by Tim M — 23 Nov 2011
Gloriously cheesy 90's! Neill's best work, makes me want to watch Jurassic Park and Event Horizon again. A Carpenter classic with effects so bad they remind me of The Thing. "A thinking person's horror picture that dares to be as cerebral as it is visceral.
" It's about a book! How daring! "Eventually falls apart because of its erratic plot and gaps in logic." An erratic plot in a movie that calls it's source material erratic !? Gaps in logic in a surreal film!? Say it ain't so!
