Review of In the Mood for Love (2000) by Menno J — 20 May 2008
Mesmerising music, superb acting and gorgeous cinematography combine perfectly to tell a story of love, loneliness and regret.
A masterpiece; anyone who laps up the romantic trash from Hollywood should watch this to get a taste for real storytelling.
My only complaint was the cinematography of the Angkor Wat scenes which I felt didn't really fit in.
