Review of In the Mood for Love (2000) by Gabe A — 09 Jan 2009
I found this film fascinating. The story reveals itself slowly and the premise is actually very interesting - there is a lot of passage of time indicated only by a change in clothing (for example) so it was difficult to follow at times.
But the performances by Cheung and Leung are superb and the cinematography was brilliant - the angles and shots are utterly unique. It's a beautiful piece of art.
